Sir Alec Guinness, one of the major British actors of all times whose career spanned nearly 70 years, is probably best remembered by a younger audience today for his portrayal of Obi-Wan Kenobi in the original 1970s Star Wars trilogy.
In Kind Hearts and Coronets, which made it to number 6 on the 100 greatest British films list of the 20th century, Guinness plays nine different characters by himself!
